Burial & Bereavement Services
JFSA assumes responsibility for ensuring that every indigent Jewish person who dies in Clark County receives a proper Jewish burial.
In 2001, Allen Brewster became co-founder and chairman of Nevada's first Jewish Mortuary, the King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery which serves over 300 families every year. Under the direction of Allen Brewster and Jay Poster, King David established the Chessed Fund. Since the inception of this fund, no Jewish family has been denied these services.
Mr. Brewster was the recipient of the First Annual JFSA Tzedakah Award on February 10, 2008, for his devotion to the Jewish community and his selflessness, making caring for others his life's work.
