Counseling
JFSA offers counseling and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and groups. Our clinical staff are licensed professionals and quality MFT and Social Work interns dedicated to providing quality care for our clients that supports and inspires them to live up to their full potential, personally, interpersonally, and professionally.
Most insurances are accepted, and for the uninsured, a discounted or sliding fee scale can be arranged. We also have special financial support available to Project Ezra clients who are unable to pay for services. JFSA Clinicians are trained in a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral, Family Systems, Psychodynamic, Developmental, and Brief Therapy, and are experienced in treating the following:
• Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders • Depression and Bi-Polar Disorder • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Trauma Recovery • Treatment for Substance Abuse, Alcohol and other addictions following a successful rehabilitation program • Grief/Loss • Chronic Illness, Health and Wellness • Employment Stress
• Counseling for the stress and self-esteem concerns of the unemployed • Relationship Concerns • Family Conflict • Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Behavioral Issues • Divorce • Life Transitions and Role Change

Bereavement Support
JFSA offers an ongoing group for individuals and families who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Facilitated by a licensed professional social worker, JFSA provides a warm and confidential atmosphere for those dealing with grief and loss issues. Our group meets every Thursday, from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM at the JFSA main office, 4794 S. Eastern Avenue, Suite C. No pre-registration is necessary. There is no fee, however, donations are accepted.
Staying Positive While Looking for Work
JFSA offers support groups specifically for the unemployed to inspire hope, empowerment, and positive strategies to stay positive and confident while looking for work.
